What goods are considered hazardous?

Substances classified in the 9 ADR classes: explosives, gases, flammable liquids and solids, oxidizers, toxics, radioactive, corrosives and miscellaneous. Includes chemicals, lithium batteries, paints, aerosols and many industrial products.

Can I ship small quantities of hazmat?

Yes, ADR provides exemptions for limited quantities (LQ) and excepted quantities (EQ) with simplified packaging and documentation requirements. Our advisor will tell you if your shipment qualifies.

What documentation do I need to ship hazmat?

ADR transport document with: UN designation, class, packing group, quantity, shipper and consignee. Also: safety data sheet (SDS), written instructions for driver and UN approved packaging certificate if applicable.
