Frequently asked questions

What is project cargo and how is it applied to the energy sector?

Project cargo is the comprehensive logistics management of large industrial equipment for energy projects. It includes route analysis, special transport permits, crane and lifting equipment coordination, multimodal transport and on-site assembly. Logistics Express manages complete wind turbine and solar plant installation projects.

What is the maximum length and weight you can transport for wind turbine blades?

With our special extendable trailers we can transport blades up to 85 meters long. For wind turbine nacelles and towers, we have capacity for loads up to 200 tonnes. Each transport is preceded by a detailed route study to identify obstacles and request the relevant permits.

How do you coordinate multimodal transport for energy projects in remote areas?

We design multimodal routes combining sea transport for high-volume equipment, land transport for the last mile and, in special cases, river or air transport for critical parts. Each project has a dedicated project manager coordinating all modes and suppliers.
