Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between JIT and JIS deliveries in automotive logistics?

JIT (Just-in-Time) deliveries ensure components arrive at the plant exactly when needed. JIS (Just-in-Sequence) deliveries go one step further: components are delivered in the exact order of the assembly sequence, requiring millimeter-precise coordination with the production line.

Can you transport oversized parts such as chassis or bodies?

Yes. We have specialized vehicles including car carriers, low-loaders and extendable trailers for transporting large components. We manage special transport permits and, when necessary, coordinate police escort.

How far in advance should we plan a special automotive transport?

For standard automotive parts transport we recommend 48-72 hours. For oversized loads requiring special permits, the usual timeframe is 5-10 business days to manage DGT authorizations and coordinate escorts if necessary.
